$500 Scholarship Award sponsored by the Pastel Society of the West CoastThe Pastel Society of the West Coast is pleased to announce it is offering a $500 scholarship to a high school graduating senior who is continuing their study of art through academic studies. Teachers, please advise your art students of this opportunity. Scholarship Competition Annual Deadline: MARCH 3l Who is eligible: Any graduating senior continuing the academic study of art is eligible. Subject Matter & Medium: Any subject matter, any medium, preferably pastel. While we are a representational society, we are open to receive abstract work of a high quality. Slides or photos of your work should be forwarded to the Chairperson noted below, along with the necessary letters of recommendation as required in our application. Judging: Artwork will be judged by PSWC Board members. Winner of the scholarship will be announced before the end of the school term.
