Marilyn is an award winning artist who has exhibited in numerous shows. She received her MFA from San Jose State. Marilyn is a signature member of Pastel Society of the Pacific Coast and the Southeastern Pastel Society, where she is a member of Excellence. She has exhibited in numerous across the United States. Gallery representation is by A. R. T. Artists of River Town Gallery.
"I have always loved and appreciated our landscape. The rural foothills, the woodland and the coastal regions of northern California have given me a great love and respect for nature. Pastels ease of use and vibrant colors aid me in representing the effects of light and the essence of nature. If I can give to others only part of the joy I feel when I am surrounded by our magnificent land I will be contented."
