Born and raised in San Diego , California , current resident of Los Angeles County , California . I’m a naturalist and my present style is realism. My preferred subject matter is wildlife and my favorite medium is soft (dry) pastels. Although I received a formal fine art education, I feel my best training has come from my love and admiration of nature. I've always been fascinated by various forms of art, and by the many expressions artists achieve in their paintings. For inspiration I turn to Robert Bateman, Carl Brenders, John Seerey-Lester, and Harley Brown.
My personal life is devoted to painting, drawing, conservation, and to studying art and the natural world. My paintings are in private collections throughout the United States.
